Pinto and her trusty friend Bee palling around. They wandered for quite a while with each other in tow.

Going for a canoe ride, well getting ready too.

This is Lima with the almighty Danny the Dinosaur fishing pole, what a proud kid!!

How we LOVE the rain.......

Well, so memorial was a little wet, and cold, and windy. Through all of this, we prevailed and had a great time. Beans and myself with the help of our friends that came, did a pretty good job with a make-shift shelter to try and keep ourselves dry. The girls, could have cared less about the cold as for the parents, I cared when I had to get into a cold sleeping bag. Lima got to go fishing for the first time with a fishing pole oddly named (not kidding the name is one the pole) Danny the Dinosaur. Lima loved that little pole and would try to catch fish every moment that she could. Pinto got to go out in the canoe for the first time, and had a great mime, except she didn't have a fishing pole which caused a little disruntlement. Through it all we made it home alive, not frozen and without any snakes in tow (AMEN!!!). Lima keeps asking when we are going camping again, so I guess we need to get planning the next big family adventure.

Just getting this whole thing started....

I have had this blog FOREVER, I have just never really figured out how to get it up and going. So now that I actually have a few minutes each day that is not devoted to my kido's and school work I will try this thing out. Bean and I have been married for 7 years. We have two great kids Lima who will be 4 in two weeks and pinto who is 1 1/2. They are such hams, not a days goes by that I don't laugh histerically atleast once. Bean just graduated with his BFA in graphic design, and I will graduate next spring with the RN. YIPEE!!! It is about time. I was beginning to think we were both on the eternal school plan, because we passed the long term plan many years ago. There isn't to many interesting moments to share right now, but we are going camping for Memorial day, so I am sure that I will have a great snake, or kid falling off the boat story to tell.
